Take 2nd exit - "Airdock Access Rd" (after Kelly Ave)

Come and observe your peers present thier entries to the IEEE paper contest, and enjoy a (very) affordable buffet dinner at Tangiers (off Market street). Cost is $5 for students (IEEE members), and $15 for all others. A cash bar will be available starting at 5pm, followed by dinner at 6, and presentations at 7. You MUST RSVP for this event to Courtney Gras - cag35@zips.uakron.edu

IEEE Meeting including information on upcoming events, current projects/competition and conferences. FREE pizza will be provided! Also included will be a presentation from Capt. Frymier of theROTC on scholarship opportunities.

Join the UA IEEE Student Branch for movie night on Friday, February 19th at 7pm in ASEC 120.

We will be watching Zombieland

 The IEEE SAC will be held this year at Temple University. The conference includes guest speakers, and a number of competitions. (including the IEEE paper contest!). Details for the event can be found on this website: http://www.temple.edu/students/ieee/SAC/compititions.html

 A group of us will be carpooling, so the sooner you notify us of your interest in the conference/competition, the better. (Did we mention that the hotel fee is included in registration?)

Student Professional Awareness Conferences (S-PACs) bring students and professionals together in an interactive and relaxed environment. S-PACs explore the non-technical subjects that affect engineers’ careers.

A number of ECE students were given the opportunity to display their projects this past February at the Akron Engineer's Week Banquet.  The last IEEE meeting of the semester will take place Tuesday, December 1st at 5pm in ASEC 120. There will information on upcoming events for the spring semester, info on the IEEE paper contest, t-shirt sales, and other opportunities to get involved with.
